ICOMA may be able to use two of three years ,but ICOMA2 at least be used over three years .
Icom whether it the A or A2 can be used for many years as long as its well maintained and protected from being kicked around. Most Icom break from abuse and being kicked around. Best bet is to use a obdii to obdii for connection to the obdii of the car and allow the Icom to pay flat to the ground.
